I am Andres Ruiz, a versatile, collaborative part 2 architectural assistant and designer based in London UK, with 8+ years of professional experience in developing projects from initial conception to working drawings, for a variety of industrial, residential, and commercial organizations.
Some of the practices I’ve worked with include Latitude Architects, Peter Taylor Associates, Clarke Renner Architects, Jo Hagan Architects. Working with a variety of software, including Autocad, Revit, Photoshop and Sketchup.

Freelance | Architectural designer part 2
Managing small scale projects, forming relationships’ designing and working alonside consultants and contractors, working in both Autocad and Revit across retail and residential refurbishment projects. Designing across all phases, from conceptual to construction documentation.

HGC Architects | Architectural designer part 2
Worked primarily in the design development and conception phase of several new office interior design and commercial projects. Drafted various design drawings, and made subsequent adjustments based on competition requirements and team observations, also helped with and conceptualised most client presentations and brochures for competitions.

Assisted with the production of drawings for brefing and design phases. had the opportunity to visit construction sites to oversee the construction process and disscuss options with client and design team. I mainly worked with Autocad, Photoshop and Revit.

Produced drawing packages for planning applications for high-end residential projects, mainly architectural plans, schedules, and interior elevations. Drafted various design solutions and made adjustments when required. Visited construction sites and worked on design briefs for clients and contractors.The majority of work was done using Autocad and Sketchup.

I also collaborated on drawings for construction packages for a newly built house in Wales.
